Hotel Baron - Tirana

We loved our rooms with a nice view, the exceptional service, and the great location, all thanks to the welcoming and friendly staff.

The room was well airconditioned with a balcony. The staff was very helpful - I will come back.

Overall the room is neat, modern and includes a safe box, a flat screen TV, and a study table. The stuff is absolutely kind, amicable. It offers great services. Besides, it offers fast wifi to guests. The location is peaceful, at a walking distance from a well-known wall.

We really liked how the double room we stayed in was well-organized and clean with a balcony and great air conditioning.

Me and my wife stayed at hotel Baron two nights, for our first visit in Albania, the reservation I took by booking at good price. Hotel Baron is situed on the left side of the Rruga Elbasanit when you're coming from Elbasan, just 100 meters before enter in Tirana, beside a petrol station. It's a safe area, no matter it's outskirts Tirana and generally quiet (close is a new Austrian-Albanian residencial area), but during one night I could heard till 2 A.M. a very noisy music from one house nearby. It's a very good location for visiting the city, there is a bus who reach the downtown in 15 minutes for only 30 leka (1 euro = 137 leka). If you're travelling by car, as I did, the hotel has enough parking places for free, who are guarded during the night and in the courtyard it's also a restaurant. I was well impressed by the room and bathroom size, but also the balcony was large enough for two people. The warm water is produced by a boiler, the wifi conection in my room had some problems, the lcd tv had many cable channels (including internationals), the bed was king size. The breakfast is by order and good enough, but I strongly recommend you to have a dinner at the restaurant. You can stay inside the beautiful hall, where is a nice wine exposition or on the terrace to enjoy the landscapes and the buildings around. But first of all, you'll be delighted by the dishes, no matter Albanian or international, they have a very good kitchen. Hotel Baron has an important advantage: the people who are working there are very kind and helpful. They answered imediatelly to my mails, they did really everything for us to enjoy our stay in their hotel and in Tirana. They are speaking Italian (as most of the Albanians), but also German (the lady at the reception), English - the young lady. A special mention for Euxhenio - the young man, who knows many things about his country, is speaking a good English and is always ready to help you.

The staff here is extremely friendly and kind, and the service overall is exceptional.

The rooms were spacious and very well equipped for the price. The staff were very nice and went out of their way to help and the breakfast was amongst the best we had in two weeks of travel in the region.

It was extremely hard to find, we couldn't spot the sign and kept going with the car back and forth in the road where it is located for almost 40 minutes asking people until we found it simply by eliminating every other option! The other problem is that they demanded an extra charge of 3% when paying in credit card + the slightly unfavorable exchange rate they calculated the due price with when converting from eur to all. But it was a slight difference anyway for what we had to pay.

I wanted to hang out with her, but unfortunately I didn't! The hotal was ok!

This place is conveniently located near a bus station and a delightful dessert restaurant called the Cheesecake Factory is just 1 km away.

The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The view from the restaurant is excellent if it is sunny.

The location was in a very green place of the capital city. Green areas are rare this times in Tirana. That was a quiet place with a very nice and friendly staff who served for every need. The rooms were in warmth design and clean. There is much parking and comfortable if you are by car.
